Division of Administration

Manages the budget and fiscal records for the office. Provides support to the State Controller in his constitutional duties and serves as a member on various boards and commissions. All public information requests are directed here for prompt, professional fulfillment.

Division of Computer Services

Provides business and after-hours support for all web applications and integrated services provided by the State Controller. Technologies and staff are available to provide development services on a wide variety of computing platforms.

  • Bureau of Computer Operations (available Mon - Sun, 6:00 am - 7:00 pm)
  • Computer Operations offers 24/7 HELPDESK services. Including but not limited to, security requests, job/task processing, special forms printing, network/server monitoring, and data center enviornment management.
  • Bureau of​ Technical Services (available Mon - Sun, 7:00 am - 5:00 pm)
  • Technical Services' staff supports the IT infrastructure utilized by SCO staff and customers. This includes the computing platforms, data management network connectivity and cyber security.
  • Bureau of​ Applications Development (available Mon - Sun, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm)
  • Applications Development develops and supports statewide accounting and payroll applications. Development support is available for other state agencies upon request.


Additional weekend services for On-Call, or On-site Overtime support are available by request. 


Division of Statewide Accounting

The Division of Statewide Accounting offers agency staff and the general public support for accounting, policy, and public information inquiries as well. Reporting and Review prepares statewide financial statements and offers review services to agencies.

Supports STARS, FAS, 1099, Purchasing, Cash Receipts, Budgetary, Vendor Remittance, P-Card, Travel Express, Payment Services, Online Reporting (Accounting Reports), Web Vendor Maintenance, and Web Remittance Advice.

Accounting Helpdesk is available Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Division of Statewide Payroll

Integrates and supervises maintenance of all personnel, position control, and payroll information for the State Controller.

Supports Employee Self-Service, Online W-2, IPOPS, I-TIME, Online Reporting (Payroll Reports), and Online Pay Stubs.

Payroll Helpdesk is available Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
